Rumination Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (RFCBT)
Repetititve thinking is a critical transdiagnostic mechanism. We can conceptualise repetitive thinking about the future as 'worry', and repetitive thinking about the past as 'rumination'. Such repetitive thinking can be a maintainance factor in anxiety and depression.
